Don't you hate that installment
A glimpse of the madness within
Wouldn't it be wicked cool if humans had fingers like Geckos? Imagine how sticky even the warmest smarmy sloper would feel!
Then again, maybe it would make climbing too easy?
These things are called Tarsiers. Don't their fingers look like the people's who have been climbing in the black hole for the past 30 years? Creepy.

Proof Positive Installment
Dissent lies within the group.
Beautiful new organic pads lie at home as their masters gallivant about the tall stones, tied together with string.
It will not do kids. In the words of Ben Folds, "This shit just will not fly".
I present you with evidence of the dissenter's treachery. HELMETS!
BRIGHTLY COLORED STRING IN PLACE OF ORGANIC FOAM!

All jokes aside (well, most) John and Karyn enjoyed the excellent weather last weekend and braved the tall stones at Lumpy Ridge.
In John's own words:
Last weekend i climbed the Sundance buttress twice! Unfortunately Aris bailed on me for Hallett but the sundance buttress in lumpy is super rad. Maybe I'll find someone this weekend to go up to hallett with. This past Saturday I climbed turnkorner with my buddy bruce and sunday Karyn and I climbed Mainliner, both were super classic. Some pictures if you're interested...
I expect no small amount of hard times in their future.

Guanella Moderates
The main cluster of boulders at Guanella Pass is a V0 to V5 playground. Sunday was all about the moderates baby!
Diggs on a deceptive sloper problem.
Kevin on a super fun dyno. The mantle to exit is also VERY cool.
Marcelo using thin feet to complete the new circle of life.
Diggs was psyched to find out that BOTH of the start holds for this line are VERY loose chock stones that are barely hanging in their cradles.

Another C-Wood installment
Thomas on Cam's Arete (Choss Arete)
Dello, Choss Arete
Mark on Scary Monsters
Diggity working Scary Monsters
Mini-Diggs (aka Alexa) on Scary Monsters
Kevin, Scary Monsters
This would have been a nice shot of the crew if some chick hadn't stuck her head in the middle of the shot. Oh well.
Yes, yes. Castlewood IS wicked. Yes, you can join us for the Tuesday night session there tomorrow. Yes, you should bring beers, psyche and shoes.
You can also scope out alternate angles of scary monsters HERE Courtesy of Straight Outta Bedlam.
